Get ready to meet Toyota’s latest electric offering, the Urban Cruiser. This sleek SUV is set to make its global debut at the Brussels Motor Show in January.

Sharing a striking resemblance to Suzuki’s eVX concept and the new e-Vitara, the Urban Cruiser is a compact SUV that boasts a length of 4,285 mm. It’s designed to be a versatile vehicle, capable of tackling both city streets and off-road adventures with its front- or all-wheel drive options.
Power and Efficiency
One of the most exciting aspects of the Urban Cruiser is its electric powertrain. Toyota offers a choice of two battery pack sizes: a 49 kWh unit and a more substantial 61 kWh option. The smaller battery is paired with a 106 kW motor, while the larger battery is matched with a 128 kW motor. Torque output is a consistent 189 Nm for both configurations.
For those seeking enhanced traction and off-road capability, the all-wheel-drive Urban Cruiser delivers 135 kW of power and a hefty 300 Nm of torque. This additional power is provided by a second motor located on the rear axle.
A Global Launch
Toyota plans to introduce the Urban Cruiser to both left- and right-hand drive European markets in the third quarter of 2025. This strategic move positions the Urban Cruiser as a direct competitor to the popular Yaris Cross Hybrid, offering a compelling electric alternative in the B/C segments.
